Academic Programs

The Department of Computer Science at Ashkelon Academic College was authorised by the Council for Higher Education to award the degree of B.Sc. in Computer Science in 2006. Before that the department was under the auspices of Bar Ilan University, and awarded a B.Sc. degreee from Bar Ilan.

In our present program the students specialise in their third year in either Computer Communications or Software Engineering, and are awarded a certificate of specialisation accordingly.

It is expected that the department will open a course of study for the degree of M.Sc. in a few years time, subject to authorisation by the Council for Higher Education.
